📄 FJNU Documents Checklist
Upload all of these to the CSC system, then email them to FJNU:
- CSC Application Form (filled online)
- Passport first page, valid after September 2027
- Notarized highest degree certificate in Chinese or English (current students: an expected graduation or student-status certificate)
- Transcripts from Bachelor’s onwards, sealed by your university
- Language certificate: IELTS/TOEFL, HSK 5, or proof of exemption
- Acceptance letter from an FJNU professor Required
- Study plan of 1,000+ words in English or Chinese PhD: signed by supervisor
- Two recommendation letters from professors or associate professors, in English or Chinese
- Art or design portfolio Art/design applicants only
- Foreigner Physical Examination Form, done within the last 6 months, in English (keep the original)
- Non-criminal record from local police, issued within the last 6 months
📝 How to Apply for the FJNU CSC Scholarship
- Find a supervisor first. Email FJNU professors in your field and ask them to sign the Supervisor Acceptance Letter. PhD applicants also need their study plan signed.
- Apply on the CSC portal at CampusChina.org. Choose Type B and enter the FJNU agency number 10394.
- Upload all documents, submit, and download your CSC Application Form.
- Email all your documents as one package to jwszs@fjnu.edu.cn, with the subject “Your Name + CSC High-level Graduate Program Application”.
- Finish everything before 8 January 2027.
- Check your email for an interview invitation.

🔍 Selection Process
⚠️ Important Rules
- No double scholarships. You can’t hold another Chinese government or university scholarship at the same time. If you hide one, you must return the money and you’re banned for 3 years.
- You can’t change university, major or study duration after you’re admitted.
- There’s an annual review every year. If you fail it, your scholarship may be stopped.
- Failing the entry medical check or qualification check can cancel your admission.
- The Chinese version of the official notice takes priority over the English version.
