9. SISU CSC Scholarship 2027 — FAQs
Is the SISU CSC Scholarship 2027 fully funded?
Yes, the SISU CSC Scholarship 2027 is fully funded. It covers full tuition, free on-campus accommodation, comprehensive medical insurance (800 CNY/year), and a monthly stipend of 3,000 CNY for Master’s students and 3,500 CNY for PhD students.

The deadline is 24:00 Beijing time on 22 November 2026. You must finish the initial application in the CSC system and the complete application in the SISU system before this time.
Do I need an acceptance letter from a supervisor?
It is not required upfront at SISU — the university organizes its own entrance exam and interview in December 2026, then issues the Admission Notice itself. However, PhD applicants should note that the study plan (1,000+ words) must be signed by a Chinese supervisor, and the official program table lists supervisor emails for every PhD major, so contacting a supervisor early is a smart move.
Can I apply for English-taught programs with the SISU CSC Scholarship 2027?
Yes. SISU offers 7 English-taught Master’s programs (Finance, International Relations, China Studies, Cross-Cultural Studies, Journalism, Global Communication, Comparative Education) and 2 English-taught PhD programs (Global Communication, China Studies). You need IELTS 6.0+ or TOEFL iBT 80+.
What is the SISU agency number for the CSC system?
The SISU agency number is 10271, and the program category is Type B. Make sure both are correct — a wrong number means SISU never receives your application.
Can I apply to several universities with CSC Type B?
No. Each applicant can submit only one Type B application per academic year. Choose one university carefully before submitting.
When will I know the final SISU CSC Scholarship 2027 result?
SISU publishes its candidate list at the end of December 2026, but the final scholarship decision comes after the CSC expert review, with results announced between June and August 2027.
